Explanation writing- A frog's lifecycle
We are coming to the end of our non-fiction unit and are finishing our explanation text about a frog's lifecycle. We researched what happens at each stage in a frog's lifecycle and gathered notes. Today we used our notes to orally rehearse each sentence before writing, included conjunctions to join sentences or to give more information to the reader and sequenced the main events using adverbs of time. We will share some of our explanation texts on our class page when we have editted and improved them.
