Friday 11th September

This week in maths we have been learning about place value of 2 digit numbers and looking carefully at the tens and ones e.g. 23= 2 tens and 3 ones.

We have also been using the numicon to identify odd and even numbers including numbers to 100. Top Tip: Only look at the ones number to help us spot if it is odd or even. For example

45 the 5 ones tells us it is odd.

62 the 2 ones tells us it is even.

Play https://www.topmarks.co.uk/carroll-diagrams/odd-and-even (levels 1, 2 & 3). Your child will need support understanding how to sort into a carroll diagram.

Choose an activity from the Odd and Even booklet below.
