Good morning Year 2.
English: We’re Going to the Zoo! Enjoy all the excitement of the zoo from the comfort of your own home! Listen to some animal themed poetry before taking on the role of researchers, as you prepare your own voice-over to accompany an animal film.

Topic: This week we will be learning about Food and Nutrition. In science we know that we can group animals into groups (mammals, fish, reptiles, birds and amphibians)- we can do the same with food.

Activity 1: Complete the Eat Well Plate. If you can’t print it, then draw the plate or get a paper plate and divide it accordingly. Cut and stick or draw the different foods in the correct group on the plate.
