Parent Newsletter - 1.5.2020
It’s hard to believe we are in May already! I hope you are all safe and well this week. All our staff and children appear to be well at the moment so your efforts to stay home and stay safe are definitely paying off. If you are in lockdown, thank you for following the guidelines and directives from the government at this time.
We have had a good week in school, despite the turn-around in the weather, with around 6-15 children each day. Thank you to our key worker parents for the work you are doing and for respecting the guidelines for using the childcare service at school.
Congratulations to Miss Sanders and her family on the birth of her baby boy, Marley Jon Ellis. Born on Monday at 17:17 weighing 8lb 7oz! Mum and baby are safe and well.
Please let us know if you have any difficulties in accessing the home learning that your child’s teacher is setting. Your child’s teacher enjoys hearing about your work and are available to answer general questions by email.
Please continue to check on what your child is accessing on their devices. Useful information about how to keep your child safe on line can be found at: https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/
Hope you are safe

Message for children
Please find a message for your children attached. I would be grateful if you could read it to them.
I will be giving out virtual Star Awards to children who have done great work at home or who have had a “Harris Standard” attitude. Teachers will nominate children for these awards and parents can too! Please let me know if your child has gone above and beynd with their work or to help at home during these difficult days. Please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
