Today's Maths Learning
Answers for Maths 7.1.21 & 8.1.21
Below you will find Maths work for Thursday 7th and Friday 8th January. First, complete the work on the power point slides or print off the activity sheet and complete that. Remember if you can't print off the sheet just write your answers on a piece of paper or in your work book. I will put the answers up on our page on Friday lunchtime so you can mark your own work. There's also some IXL work for each day to reinforce learning in this area so log on to IXL after you have completed the maths activity for each day.

First I would like you to have a go at our daily maths problem.
Then we have some more learning about negative numbers. If you didn't look at the negative numbers presentation on BBCbitesize from yesterday you might like to do that first. Here it is again.
Then complete the negative numbers and temperatures activity sheet.

MATHS 26th-27th November
Today and tomorrow we will be working on factors so please watch the power points and complete some of the activities which are given on them. ( sorry late putting on and no need to do everything as there is a lot)
Maths 23-25th November
We are continuing our learning about graphs and charts. This weeks learning is about pictograms and bar charts. There are 3 activities to complete. Please do activity 1 on Monday, activity 2 on Tuesday and activity 3 on Wednesday.
MATHS 19th - 20th November
Today and tomorrow we will be working on multiplication and division facts related to seven times table facts.
Watch the power point attached and print and complete the activity sheet (one side on Thursday and the other side Friday). There will also be some ixl work set on Gmail for you to complete on Friday.

For today I would like you to log on to Times Tables Rockstars. This week we are practicing the 2, 4 and 8 times tables.
If you would like a challenge have a look at the perimeter learning below. It's quite tricky!
In Maths we are learning about measuring and calculating perimeter. Have a look at the presentation below and then look at the perimeter activity. See if you can calculate the perimeter of Farmer Giles' fields.

Today draw grids for yourself and have a go at multiplying 3 digit numbers by one digit numbers.

We are continuing to learn about measuring in cm and mm. This time we are estimating first, then finding the exact measurement in cm and mm. Have a look at the measurement chart below. Some of the things you are asked to measure are things we have at school but you might not have at home so you can find something else to measure for those.

MATHS-22nd and 23rd October
This week we are multiplying and dividing numbers by 6 and 9.
Try and complete some of the multiplication and division triangles attached and then go on Topmarks website and 'Hit the Button' to practice your 6's and 9 times tables.
