Learning Objective: Why do we celebrate Remembrance Day?

In this lesson, we will learn about World War I and World War II. We will learn what 'commemorate' means and will learn about how we remember those who lost their lives in World War I and II. We will learn what Remembrance Day is and when it is celebrated. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil. (We will only be doing lesson 1 of the 3 lessons but if you wish, you could do all three lessons).

Use the link below to join Miss Emm’s lesson.

If you have time, you could create a poppy picture for Remembrance day, tomorrow. You can use any media you wish, crayons, paints, collage, etc.

I look forward to seeing your work.
