Update for all Parents 3rd April 2020
As we come towards the end of our second week of isolation, I hope that you and your families are managing to cope well with the guidance to stay at home. Thank you for all you are doing to protect the NHS and keep us all safe. It is wonderful to see children’s work posted on the school website, the teachers are really pleased to get these messages. Keep them coming! I know however that some parents will be finding things tough and our thoughts go out to you. Remember not to compare yourself to other parents who may seem to be having a better time than you, we all have good days and bad days. You are doing a great job!
Message for children
Please find a message for your children attached. I would be grateful if you could read it to them.
I will be giving out virtual Star Awards to children who have done great work at home or who have had a “Harris Standard” attitude. Teachers will nominate children for these awards and parents can too! Please let me know if your child has gone above and beyond with their work or to help at home during these difficult days. Please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Star Awards this week have gone to:
Alfie Kenworthy (Y2) for some awesome gardening
Harry Burnhan (Y3) for an excellent video presentation on Ancient Egypt
Niamh Quigley (Y5) for excellent attitude to home learning
