Wednesday 2nd December 2020

Thank you for all the wonderful photos of your shops! You all look like you had a fabulous time playing in them.

This week and next week, we are beginning our topic of ‘Time’. We will start by exploring just how long 1 minute is.

Task

Predict the following 1 minute activities, then complete each activity and record your results.

Activity

Prediction

Results

How many star jumps in 1 minute?

How many bricks in a tower can you build in 1 minute?

How many hops on one leg in 1 minute?

How many goals can you score in 1 minute? (This could be a pair of socks thrown into a washing basket.)

Can you balance on one leg for 1 minute?

How many times can you write your name in 1 minute?

Can you sit silently with your eyes closed for 1 minute?

I look forward to seeing photos of your learning.
