Welcome to Harris Primary School!  

At the heart of our school are our wonderful children! Everything that we do is centred on our belief that, for all our children, primary school should be a place where children can cherish their childhoods, but also develop the necessary skills, knowledge and characteristics that will prepare them for their futures.

Our children will be immersed in experiences and opportuities that allow them to develop these values in order to make them successful learners. You can find out more about these areas in the Values and Ethos section of our website.

Our teaching staff have a wealth of experience to offer our children and inspire them with progressive and exciting lessons; they are passionate about what they do!

The learning environment plays a large part in encouraging independent learning and our school is a calm, yet stimulating, friendly place to work in - for children and adults! We believe that a positive attitude and good behaviour are crucial in order to maintain the positive and nurturing ethos of our school.

We have high expectations of our children - academically, socially and personally. We always encourage our children to contribute positively to our school and wider community. Ultimately, Harris Primary School is a place where pupils of all abilities can shine, can work happily together and can achieve their full potential.
