We are excited to share that our brand-new school library officially opened last week in the Key Stage 2 shared space. Stocked with over 400 brand-new books, which are regularly refreshed by the Lancashire Library Service, the library is already proving to be a welcoming and inspiring place for pupils to explore new stories, enjoy reading, and discover new authors. Children are able to borrow these books to take home, in addition to their school home-reader book, giving them even more opportunities to enjoy reading. We look forward to seeing our children develop their love of reading as they make the most of this wonderful new resource.
🎸 Get Ready to Rock! 🎸
We’re thrilled to announce the re-launch of Times Tables Rock Stars on Thursday, 18th September! To celebrate, we invite all students and staff to come dressed as their favorite rock stars for the day. Whether it’s wild hair, leather jackets, or cool shades—let’s rock out in style and make math fun!
Last year, the use of the TTRS app had a fantastic impact on children’s times tables recall, helping them build speed, confidence, and accuracy. This exciting re-launch is the perfect chance to build on that success and get everyone engaged and ready to take on times tables like pros. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to rock! 🎶

If your child is in their final year of pre-school or nursery*, you can now apply for their primary school place for September 2026 at:

The application process is quick and easy, and you’ll receive an email confirmation once submitted.
✅ You must apply even if your child already has siblings attending the school.
✅ If you live in Lancashire, you can include out-of-area preferences on your online application.
