Online Safety

Our April Online Safety newsletter is now available to view on the school website and via this link. We are also excited to announce that, alongside the written parent newsletter, we will now be sharing a short accompanying video each month to support key online safety messages at home. Our April video focuses on Online Gaming, offering helpful tips and guidance to keep children safe while they play and have fun online. We hope you find these resources useful and informative.

Message from Neighbourhood Policing Team

Your local neighbourhood PCSO and have been on patrol recently, around school, following a few logs of dangerous parking and parking down roads that are access only.

We appreciate the parking around the primary school is limited and can be difficult at times, especially around pick-up and drop-off times. However, some people have been disregarding the rules and parking in an anti-social manner; on bends, on single yellow lines, on double yellow lines, at junctions. We are aware this is not everyone and therefore, does not apply to everyone but can we please all begin to make a conscious effort at parking in a respectful manner.

Regarding the access only roads, there is an access only road opposite the school, CARNOUSTIE CLOSE. Please can all parents refrain from parking down this road indefinitely, this road should only be used for access by residents of the road or emergency vehicles. A lot of the residents on this road are elderly and require emergency vehicles on occasion. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. My email and contact number is available just below if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask me anything. Ingol PCSO Neighbourhood Policing Team t:07976462223 e:7498@lancashire.police.uk

Sporting Achievements

🌟 A huge well done to our Year 5 and Year 6 Tag Rugby team! This week, the team represented Harris Primary with fantastic determination, teamwork and resilience at the local tournament. They played brilliantly throughout, showing great skill and sportsmanship in every match. We are incredibly proud of their achievement in securing 3rd place overall. A superb effort from a committed and enthusiastic group of players. Well done, everyone!
