Successful Ofsted Inspection this week
The inspection team spent time in school observing learning, talking with staff and pupils, and looking at how our school works day to day. I am very pleased to say that the inspection went very well, with many strengths and positives recognised across the school.
I would like to say how incredibly proud we are of our children. They were absolutely brilliant throughout the inspection and spoke with confidence, enthusiasm and maturity when talking to the inspectors. They were a real credit to themselves, their families and the school.
The inspectors also commented on the strong sense of care, inclusion and consistency throughout the school, and they were able to see the hard work that takes place every day to support our children’s learning, wellbeing and development.
The official Ofsted report will be published in approximately 30 days’ time. Until the report is formally released, the detailed outcomes are confidential and cannot yet be shared. However, we wanted to reassure you that the inspection was a positive experience for the school and reflected our shared commitment to providing the best possible education and care for your children. Once the report is published, we will of course share it with you and take time to celebrate the positives and outline our next steps.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are very proud of our school community and grateful for the strong partnership we have with you.
Online Safety
Our April Online Safety newsletter is now available to view on the school website and via this link. We are also excited to announce that, alongside the written parent newsletter, we will now be sharing a short accompanying video each month to support key online safety messages at home. Our April video focuses on Online Gaming, offering helpful tips and guidance to keep children safe while they play and have fun online. We hope you find these resources useful and informative.
Family Bingo
On Thursday 23rd April, we will be holding our annual Family Bingo event. This is always a popular event and a lovely family evening out.
There will be pizza, snacks, and soft drinks available to purchase on the night. It is a no alcohol event, so please do not bring your own alcoholic drinks.
The children are invited to attend school in non-uniform on Thursday 23rd April, in exchange for a donation of chocolates or sweets.
Tickets are available to purchase on School Spider. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Kind regards,
PTFA Team.
