Sports Day Success!

Our Sports Days for Preschool through to Year 6 were absolutely fantastic! The children were brilliant throughout, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship in every event. It was a joy to see their energy and smiles as they took part in the activities. A big thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to support – your encouragement and involvement helped make the days truly special.

After totalling all the field and track event the overall winners for each year group were announce in assembly today. The results are below.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Mr Ridge for organising such a well-run and enjoyable Sports Day – your hard work and planning were very much appreciated by all! Look out for the photos on the school Facebook page next week.

Harris Fest & Summer Fair

This year's Harris Fest & Summer Fair will take place on Tuesday 15th July, immediately after school 3:30 - 6pm.

🎵 Our theme for 2025 is the 1980s—a decade known for its iconic music, dance, and fashion. Each class will showcase a performance inspired by this era, featuring classic songs or dance routines that are sure to bring a wave of nostalgia and fun.

In addition to the performances, the PTFA has been working diligently to organise our traditional summer fair, which will include:

  • Exciting stalls

  • Delicious food and refreshing drinks

  • A raffle with fantastic prizes

This event promises to be a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate. We encourage everyone to embrace the 1980s theme—feel free to dress up in your favourite '80s attire!

If you are interested in volunteering or contributing in any way, please contact the school office or reach out to ptfa@harris.lancs.sch.uk
